Da Lovett 60

How do you measure, measure a year
In daylights, in sunsets
In midnights, in cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife

I started the #365workout because I wanted to make it a habit for me to think about fitness everyday. I wanted to make sure I was doing something physical everyday to help me get in shape. I have always believed in the holistic approach to life, and now I plan on putting it in action.

A couple of weeks ago, one of my tweeps was talking about Missouri 60, didn’t really pay attention until one of my tweeps ( I think she is totally awesome ) posted her Missouri 60 picture and all I could say was WOW. Although, the body change was impressive, I was more impressed by the confidence and happiness I saw in her face. It was beautiful! So here I am, between my homegirl and “The Anti-Jared” I am deciding to design my own 60 day program. I love what “The Anti-Jared” said, “So many people want to say what they are going to do, very few put words into action.” I’m putting my words out there so I can hold myself accountable for talking the talk and walking the walk.

Da Lovett 60 isn’t about losing way, it’s about a lifestyle and getting back to what I know is right. I have to workout more than just my mouth and legs. I’m much more than that, I’m a physical and spiritual being . . . So here’s my personal Challenged.

Da Lovett 60

The program is based on changing the way you think about health and the way you think about yourself. In 60 days I want to be healthier & happier. The program is 60 days with a 30 day check point to evaluate the halfway point. How can you get where you are going if you don’t stop and make sure you are still on the right trail.

Sept 1 – Sept 30

  1. Run 50 Miles
  2. 300 Jack Knives
  3. No Soda
  4. No Fried Food
  5. 15 Hours of Meditation

Oct 1 – Oct 30

  1. Run 50 Miles
  2. 300 Jack Knives
  3. No Chocolate or Chips
  4. No Red Meat
  5. 15 Hours of Meditation

The Formula:

  • 30 Day – Evaluation Period
  • 2 Physical goals
  • 2 Food goals
  • 1 Spiritual goal
  • No weight goal

That’s it, I’m going to work on my body and my soul. I’m going to be better physically and emotionally. There’s no try only do, and now I plan on doing.
